The bass from Gaga’s "Poker Face" is literally rattling my bedroom windows, but I can still hear my parents downstairs arguing over the morning paper. They’re all freaked out by that headline, "Before Killings, Hints of Plans and Grievance," acting like the whole world is turning sketchy just because of some scary manifestos. I’m just trying to tune out their noise and text my peeps to see who’s hitting the cinema for the new *Fast & Furious*. If they start nagging me about my grades again, I’m just going to tell them "there’s an app for that" and hope they don't see me rolling my eyes.
