From the day
Perspective: The Street Photographer · Sound
The heavy bass from a passing Escalade rattles my viewfinder, the repetitive hook of "Low" by Flo Rida blaring so loud I can practically feel T-Pain’s autofocus on the sidewalk. I track a girl in oversized sunglasses and metallic leggings through my lens, her digital camera dangling from a wrist strap as she poses with a playful "rawr" for her friends. Everything feels high-gloss today, from the neon movie posters for *Semi-Pro* to the sleek curve of a new smartphone someone is tapping near the subway. I click the shutter just as a gust of wind kicks up city grit, capturing the raw, tech-obsessed pulse of a Sunday that smells like expensive lattes and exhaust.
