From the day
Perspective: The Teenager · Tactile
I’m hunched over my desk, the itchy wool of my American Apparel hoodie rubbing against my neck while I try to ignore the political ads screaming from the TV in the other room. I’m just trying to zone out to T-Pain on my iPod, fingers clicking the smooth plastic wheel as I imagine finally getting my hands on that animatronic Wall-E toy, all cold metal and clicking gears. Mom’s already complaining that a loaf of bread costs **$1.37** now, but I’m more worried about saving for those shiny high-tops. I honestly might just *squee* if I get to see the Hannah Montana movie this weekend; the glittery seats and popcorn grease are calling my name.
