Justin’s "SexyBack" is absolutely blasting through my Shure earbuds, the bass thumping so hard it’s drowning out the screech of the bus brakes and the nonstop chatter of girls gossiping about *The Prestige*. I checked my Razr and saw my brother whining about the price of gas hitting $2.27 a gallon like it’s the end of the world, honestly, way more info than I needed—total TMI. I’m just zoning out and daydreaming about the Nintendo Wii launch while the autumn wind whistles through the street corner. The world feels loud, metallic, and perfectly electric today.
