From the day
Perspective: The Future Historian · Tactile
I run my thumb over the glossy, white plastic of the Nintendo Wii remote, marveling at how light this future feels compared to the heavy denim and synthetic polyester blends of my current wardrobe. Between bites of cheap bread, I monitor the erratic pulse of Twitter on my monitor, watching the digital chatter swell as AWS begins its invisible quietly-scaling conquest of the horizon. I need to step away to check the latest political rift between the former Presidents, so I type a quick "brb" into my chat window before the screen flickers. Far away in the server racks, the cloud is thickening, a tactile shift from local hardware to a weightless, boundless data stream.
