Perspective: The Future Historian · Sight
Low-rise denim and neon-streaked hair dominate the terminal as I watch a "scene" kid squint at a flickering screen, trying to condense his life into a few dozen characters on that new Twitter feed. Outside, the world feels precarious, weighted by grim headlines from Gaza, yet everyone here is distracted by the data floating invisibly through the AWS cloud or the glowing promise of a Nintendo Wii. The blue-tinted light of the departure board reflects off the oversized aviator glasses of the woman next to me. She looks past the chaotic headlines toward a future being written in silicon and code.
