From the day
Perspective: The Street Photographer · Sound
The shutter clicks on a girl in oversized sunglasses and chiffon layers, her Ugg boots scuffing past a sketchy pile of trash as Mariah Carey’s "We Belong Together" blares from a passing SUV. I drop **$1.12** on a loaf at the corner bodega, wincing at the price while some kid in skinny jeans shouts "rawr" at his friend near a faded movie poster. The city hums with the frantic energy of new tech and gasoline fumes, every peep on the sidewalk caught in my lens against the autumn glare. It’s a gritty, beautiful mess of denim and digital noise that I just have to freeze in time.
