From the day
Perspective: The Street Photographer · Sight
The glare of the morning sun hits the oversized sunglasses of a girl in Ugg boots, her chiffon skirt drifting over skinny jeans as she scrolls through her Razr. I catch the silhouette of a guy holding a newspaper with the headline, "You Want Any Fruit With That Big Mac?" and I have to laugh; as if a bag of apple slices justifies that grease at two in the morning. The street smells like exhaust and expensive lattes, a perfect Sunday for the boho-chic crowd to pose against the brickwork. It’s almost tmi how much of their lives they're starting to put out there, but through my lens, the layered denim looks like art under the flickering neon of the movie theater marquee.
