From the day
Perspective: The Street Photographer · Sight
The low-rise jeans and chunky belt buckles are catching the glare of the humid August sun, creating a restless silhouette against the concrete. I’m framing a shot of a teenager spinning a Beyblade on a sidewalk grate while Nelly’s "Dilemma" pulses from a passing SUV. A bodega window display distracts my lens; the price of a single loaf of bread has hit **$1.03**, and I’m digits short of a lunch break. I need to swap out this film roll and see if I caught that grainy blur in the background, so I’ll be brb.
