From the day
Perspective: The Street Photographer · Sight
The low afternoon sun catches the sharp flare of low-rise denim and chunky heels as crowds swarm the theater ticket booth, their faces illuminated by the neon glow of the *Don't Say a Word* marquee. I frame a shot of a wide-eyed newbie fumbling with his sleek new flip phone, oblivious to the "For Sale" signs plastered across the cellular shop window behind him. The air tastes of grit and expensive perfume, a sharp contrast to the soft velvet tracksuits and oversized shades drifting past my lens. Everything feels precariously modern, trapped in the silver reflection of a passing taxi.
