From the day

Perspective: The Anxious Local · Sound

The metallic rattle of those new Razor Scooters is driving me insane, and I swear, if I hear Aaliyah’s "Try Again" on the radio one more time, I’m going to lose it. Everything is getting so expensive—gas just hit $1.51 and my pockets are feeling light—while all these kids in their velour tracks don't seem to have a care in the world. I opened the morning paper and just stared at the sports page: After Three Errors, Knoblauch Walks Out, and omg, I totally get why he just left. Between the noise and the prices, I feel like walking out on this whole stressful Friday myself.
