From the day
Perspective: The Street Photographer · Tactile
The morning light hits the textured nylon of these oversized windbreakers, casting a neon sheen over the pavement as kids huddle on the subway steps. I can hear the sharp, rhythmic snap of holographic **Pokémon Cards** being traded, their glossy cardstock feeling slick and expensive against the grit of the concrete. One kid in a scratchy wool beanie tries to swap a crumpled common for a Charizard, but the older boys just sneer and call the offer "lame" before adjusting their baggy denim. Everything feels tense today, the air thick with the smell of cheap exhaust and the static of a city perpetually on the move.
