The cold morning air bites through my thin thermal knit, and my hands feel raw as I swap out rolls of film outside the department store window. I focus my lens on a kid in a scratchy flannel shirt, his nose pressed against the glass as he stares longingly at a Super Nintendo.
"Because I Love You" drifts out from a nearby radio, the synth-pop melody clashing with the heavy tread of Doc Martens on the slushy pavement. Seeing the massive crowd for the matinee, I realize being stuck in this city tonight will make me feel like I'm totally *Home Alone*.
