From the day
Perspective: The Street Photographer · Tactile
The cold November air bites through my thin thermal knit, and I accidentally bumped a skater in oversized flannel—my bad, kid, I was just trying to frame the light hitting those scuffed Doc Martens. The sidewalk is a sea of ripped denim and unkempt layers, but everyone stops dead at the department store window to gape at the new Super Nintendo. I can almost feel the smooth, matte plastic of those gray controllers through the glass, a sharp contrast to the grit of the city street.
