From the day
Perspective: The Anxious Local · Tactile
The plastic casing of this new Game Boy feels suspiciously light and hollow in my palms, almost like it’s waiting to crack under the weight of the morning news. I can't even focus on the pixels with the radio blaring about soldiers raiding churches and the world feeling like it's tilting off its axis. Everything is getting so expensive that it makes me want to scream; paying $0.55 for a single loaf of bread is absolute madness when the economy is this shaky. If prices keep climbing while the headlines get bloodier, I’m going to lose it—seriously, barf me out.
