From the day

Perspective: The Teenager · Sound

The rhythmic *bloop-bleep* of my Game Boy is getting drowned out by the gritty wail of Bad English blasting from the speakers of a passing Monte Carlo. My ears are ringing from the street noise, but I’m just trying to beat my high score while waiting for the guys. I heard some suit on the radio talking about a new movie park in France, which sounds totally bodacious compared to this boring sidewalk. Honestly, if this level doesn't get any easier, I’m going to lose my mind—this game is way more intense than it should be for a gray little screen.
